Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
AutoNomiq ("we," "our," or "us") believes in putting our customers first. This Cancellation Policy explains your rights and our obligations when you decide to cancel your subscription to our AI agent code generation platform (the "Service"). It applies to all paid subscription plans including monthly, annual, and team-based plans.
By subscribing to the Service, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Cancellation Policy. We have designed this policy to comply with applicable consumer protection and data privacy laws globally, including the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), and relevant digital services regulations effective as of 2026.
2. How to Cancel
2.1 Self-Service Cancellation (Recommended)
You may cancel your subscription at any time directly from your account settings. To do so:
- Log in to your AutoNomiq account.
- Navigate to Settings → Billing → Subscription.
- Click "Cancel Subscription" and follow the prompts.
- Confirm your cancellation in the confirmation dialog.
Your cancellation will take effect immediately upon confirmation. You will receive an email confirmation within minutes.
2.2 Cancellation via Email
If you are unable to cancel through your account settings, you may request cancellation by emailing us at cancellations@autonomiq.dev from the email address associated with your account. Include the subject line "Cancellation Request" and your account details. We will process your request within 2 business days.
2.3 No-Cancellation-Fee Guarantee
We do not charge cancellation fees or penalties of any kind for cancelling your subscription. You are free to cancel at any time, for any reason, without financial penalty beyond the terms described in Section 3 below.
3. Effective Date and Billing Implications
3.1 Monthly Subscriptions
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain full access to the Service until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- No further charges will be applied after cancellation.
- Subscription credits allocated for the current billing period remain usable until the period ends but do not roll over or convert to refunds unless covered by our Refund Policy.
3.2 Annual Subscriptions
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain full access to the Service until the end of the annual period you have already paid for.
- You may be eligible for a pro-rated refund in accordance with our Refund Policy if you cancel within the applicable refund window.
- After the refund window, no further charges will be applied, but prepaid amounts are non-refundable.
3.3 Team and Enterprise Plans
Custom enterprise agreements may have specific cancellation terms as outlined in your contract. Please refer to your signed agreement or contact your account manager for details. In the absence of a custom agreement, the standard cancellation policy for your billing frequency (monthly or annual) applies.
4. What Happens After Cancellation
4.1 Access
- You retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period (as described in Section 3).
- At the end of the billing period, your account will be automatically downgraded to a suspended state where you can log in but cannot generate new code or initiate new generation jobs.
- Credit packs (one-time purchases with permanent credits) remain associated with your account and will be available if you resubscribe within 12 months of cancellation.
4.2 Data Retention
- Generated Code: We strongly recommend downloading all generated code and CDK stacks before cancellation. Generated code files are not retained beyond the cancellation period.
- Account Data: Your account information, configuration history, and usage records are retained for 30 days after your billing period ends to allow for reactivation.
- Permanent Deletion: After 30 days in the suspended state, your account and associated data will be permanently deleted unless you resubscribe. We will notify you via email 7 days before permanent deletion.
- Financial Records: Invoices and payment records are retained for 7 years as required by tax and accounting regulations, even after account deletion.
4.3 Exporting Your Data
You can request an export of your account data, including configuration history and usage records, at any time before permanent deletion by contacting us at support@autonomiq.dev. We will provide the export within 14 days in a machine-readable format.
5. Refund Eligibility After Cancellation
Cancellation and refunds are separate processes. While you may cancel at any time, refund eligibility is governed by our separate Refund Policy. Please review that policy for detailed refund terms.
In summary:
- Monthly subscribers who cancel within 14 days of their initial subscription are eligible for a full refund.
- Annual subscribers may be eligible for pro-rated refunds within certain time windows.
- After the applicable refund window, cancelled subscriptions are non-refundable but you retain access for the remainder of your billing period.
6. Reactivation
You may resubscribe at any time. When you resubscribe:
- If you resubscribe within the 30-day data retention window after your billing period ends, your account will be fully restored with your prior configuration history intact.
- If you resubscribe after the 30-day window but within 12 months, you will need to create a fresh configuration, but any previously purchased credit packs will be restored.
- If you resubscribe after 12 months, a new account will be created and any unused credit packs will be forfeited.
- Reactivation does not reinstate prior billing period access. Your new billing period begins on the reactivation date.
7. Auto-Renewal and Reminders
7.1 Auto-Renewal
All subscription plans are set to auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on file at the then-current rates at the start of each renewal period.
7.2 Renewal Reminders
In compliance with global consumer protection standards, we will send you a reminder notice at least 7 days before your subscription renews. This notice will include:
- The upcoming charge amount
- The renewal date
- A clear link to cancel your subscription
- Instructions on how to update your payment method
Annual subscribers will receive a reminder 30 days before renewal in addition to the 7-day reminder.
8. Service-Initiated Cancellation
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account in the following circumstances:
- Non-Payment: If your payment method fails for 14 consecutive days after the billing date, we will suspend your account. We will notify you via email before suspension. After 30 days of non-payment, your account will be permanently terminated.
- Terms of Service Violation: If you violate our Terms of Service, we may suspend or terminate your account immediately. In such cases, no refunds will be provided.
- Fraud or Abuse: Accounts found to be engaging in fraudulent activity, abuse of the Service, or illegal conduct will be terminated immediately without notice.
- Service Discontinuation:In the unlikely event that we discontinue the Service, we will provide at least 60 days' notice and pro-rated refunds for any prepaid amounts.
9. Regulatory Compliance
This Cancellation Policy is designed to comply with the following consumer protection regulations as applicable:
- EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU):Recognising the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts and digital services.
- California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):Ensuring transparent data handling and deletion rights upon account cancellation.
- UK Consumer Contracts Regulations: Providing clear cancellation rights and pre-contractual information for UK-based consumers.
- Australian Consumer Law (ACL): Offering fair cancellation terms and acknowledging statutory consumer guarantees.
- Indian Consumer Protection Act, 2019:Ensuring fair trade practices, transparent auto-renewal terms, and accessible grievance mechanisms for Indian consumers.
- Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act):Upholding the data principal rights of Indian users, including the right to access, correction, erasure, and grievance redressal upon account cancellation.
10. Grievance Redressal (India-Specific)
In compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), the Indian Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Information Technology Act, 2000 (including the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021), we have designated a Grievance Officer to address any concerns related to cancellation, billing, account management, or data privacy.

11. How to Request Immediate Account Deletion
If you would like your account and associated data deleted immediately (rather than waiting for the end of your billing period or the 30-day retention period), you may request expedited deletion by emailing privacy@autonomiq.dev with the subject line "Request for Account Deletion." We will process your request within 7 business days.
Please note: Immediate deletion is irreversible and bypasses the standard 30-day retention period. Downloaded generated code is yours to keep, but any configurations, history, and unused credits will be permanently lost.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, industry standards, or legal requirements. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
